Rev. Andrew Guthrie grew up in Mesa, AZ. He attended college at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ, where he studied history and political science. Somewhere along the way, he felt the nudge towards ministry, guided and nurtured by several campus ministers, and so moved to Nashville, TN in 2009 to pursue a Masters of Divinity at Vanderbilt Divinity School. He has since served churches in Glendale, AZ and Portland Oregon, before moving to Lafayette, IN in January of 2019. Throughout his ministry Andrew has been concerned with the ways in which the church manifests and preaches the Good News of God’s kingdom, seeking a more open and inclusive church dedicated to living out the Good News of God’s love for all people.
Andrew is married to the Rev. Amanda Guthrie. They live in Lafayette with their Nami (dog) and Koby (cat).
